Set in five acres of Cheshire countryside we are just two minutes from the M6 at Junction 16 and within 40 minutes of Manchester, Derby and Birmingham.

We have three recording control rooms and four rehearsal rooms, sonically isolated and acoustically treated to give the very best creative environment in a purpose built studio block. We take the recording process very seriously, and are experts in drum and guitar tracking and microphone placement. The mix can be routed through analog or digital desks via our state-of-the art Digidesign Pro Tools HD3 Accel system whilst our mastering studios can provide the final polish to your song.

Sound at School deliver six week courses specially designed to develop the music skills and talent of young people aged 11-19 years.

We combine the fun and excitement of recording live music with education. As well as supporting the national curriculum and helping with English, maths and ICT; our courses develop communication, presentation and teamwork skills. No experience of playing instruments is required. All our tutors are CRB cleared and fully insured. Workshoops across the Northwest.
