Outdoor Activities

We are a small residential art school offering painting holidays in a variety of media to artists of all abilities. Using the beautiful countryside that is the Cornwall/Devon border, we work on location or bring ideas back to our spacious studio.

With a maximum of six guests on any one course, each artist has the benefit of individual tuition which promotes confidence.

We have 4 star accommodation and cater for all diets.
We also run specialist courses for teachers.

cassinobattlefields provides guided tours of the Cassino and Anzio battlefields for small groups of military history enthusiasts. Formed in 2003, the company has 6 years experience in the tour guiding sector.

Participants will walk the ground over which the battles were fought and appreciate the operational and tactical challenges that the Allies faced from Jan-May 44.

The tours are led by a former British Army infantry officer with a wealth of experience.

Southern Explorer is a company providing tailor made sightseeing tours of the South Downs National Park and surrounding countryside. Marketing is aimed at individuals and small groups.

We are a new watersports centre located on Admiralty Quay at Mylor overlooking the beautiful and historic Carrick Roads. We offer windsurfing tuition, bike hire, kayak hire and sales and have a well stocked shop brimming with new and second hand equipment. Our aim is to introduce all age groups and abilities to a variety of watersports as well as motivating progression in the more experienced.
