CARA (Charity No. 1135610) is an independent charity, which activities include:
Legal: helping the poor to know, understand and achieve their rights;
Translation & Interpretation Services in French, Portuguese, Somali, Kinyarwanda, Lingala & English;
Health: striving to reduce childhood death and illness;
HIV/AIDS: prevention, care and support for those affected by HIV and AIDS;
Education: providing quality basic education for all, especially girls;
Provision of water and sanitation;

Gap year specialists for travel to South America and Africa, including volunteering for community and conservation projects, expeditions and adventure travel for students between 17 and 24 years old.

Quest Overseas provide gap year travel and summer trips to South America and Africa, including expeditions and community or conservation projects in Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Tanzania, Botswana, Kenya and many more exciting destinations around the world.

Community Food Initiatives North East is a charity which promotes health and well being through the supply and promotion of fresh fruit and vegetables. We offer opportunities for volunteering and we have a wholesale business offering deliveries in Aberdeen and Grampian.
